On Wednesday April 4, 2012, Cosmetic Executive Women will host its Women & Men in Beauty Series on the West Coast. The seminar, Marketing to the Digital Beauty Consumer, will reveal secrets to understanding what e-commerce, mobile apps and social media mean to today’s beauty marketers? Multi-platform experts, Valerie Hoecke, VP digital experience and commerce, Benefit Cosmetics, and Kelly Solomon, VP of interactive and e-commerce, Active Cosmetics Division, L’Oréal, will share their insights with attendees. Hoecke is responsible for the growth of the Benefit Cosmetics’ global ecommerce channel, for sales through a variety of 3rd party ecommerce channel partners, and for all digital media strategy and online marketing for the brand. Solomon has been with L’Oreal USA since March 2006, where she began as the Director of E-Commerce for the Active Cosmetics Division of L’Oreal. She manages all digital initiatives for the Active Cosmetics Division including digital paid advertising, email marketing, social media, mobile and e-commerce strategy.
